A Message from Our Basileus
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the Supreme Basileus of the Universe. I am honored the be serving as your Basileus of the Iota Iota Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. This honor provides me with the opportunity to serve you and our community in the highest regard. I look forward to fulfilling this obligation with loyalty, integrity, honesty, and fidelity.
We must remain vigilant as an organization of service as our Founders Ernest E. Just, Oscar J. Cooper, Frank Coleman and Edgar A. Love placed before us. Our founders had the wisdom and vision to implement our four Cardinal Principles of Manhood, Scholarship, Perseverance, and Uplift.
The Iota Iota Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc was Chartered May 31, 1944, and will continue with its longstanding obligation to serve our beloved community; while holding ourselves to the highest standards of our commitment. As Omega Men, we shall continue to mentor our youth, feed the hungry, cloth the unclothed, insure the care of our seniors, and continue to be advocates for our community.
As Omega Men, we must remain intentional, diligent, and attentive to our social and political climates to insure equality for all.
In closing, we must keep the light of our beloved organization burning as the beacon and guide that has been longstanding since our beginning, November 17, 1911.
