Brothers,

I greet you in the name of the God the most gracious and most worshipful and to whom all praises are due.

Manhood          Scholarship                           Perseverance                                Uplift

It is with great pleasure and a humble heart that I thank you for this opportunity to serve
Iota Iota Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. in the capacity of Basileus.  I accept the
responsibilities of this office with all of my strength and zeal.  I ask for your full support
as we embark on this upcoming year.  A year of change and of UPLIFT.
This administration will stand on the cardinal principle of UPLIFT.

UPLIFT has spiritual connotations connected to it.  When we are on the path of UPLIFT this
becomes a path that belongs to those who are not cold, whose hearts have not become stone,
and whose heads have not become so swollen that they can’t hear the voice of the soul. This
path will belong to those who with all their might will serve others.  Those who UPLIFT others
God promises he will UPLIFT them.

We as Omega Men are pioneers.  Let us walk on this blessed land for a few days in the true Omega spirit.
With the vision of our Founders, with your likes and dislikes, your loves and hatreds, your affection
and understanding. Lets make it our mission to carry the principle of UPLIFT through out the land and
across boundaries which have never been crossed or been open.  Lets shake hands which have not been shaken,
go and bring people out of their holes so they can be holy and pull people out of their heights so they
can save their height in the eyes of the Supreme Basileus.

As Men of Omega may our sorrows never touch our tomorrows, may our blessings be for all,
may our happiness be shared and may our smiles give hope to others.  As we prepare to go out
into the communities, perform our mandated programs and work to make Iota Iota the best
it can be.  Lets go forward in the name of Just, Love, Cooper and Coleman.  For we can be
certain that they always did what was best for Omega as well as all of humanity.
